This farm-style single family residence is nestled into the site’s many boulders, at the base of a softly sloping hillside. It is located in the historic mining town of Julian, California. The wraparound porch looks westward over a beautiful rural, pastoral landscape. The home includes an open plan with a cozy loft space overlooking the Great Room and kitchen below.

Hi Carole — We wish to “Thank You” for all the incredible efforts you have put into making this house more than we had conceived it could be. As you may remember, we interviewed 2 architects before you and from that first meeting you demonstrated the professionalism I wanted while listening to our ideas for what we wanted the house to become. We have been amazed with the thoroughness of your attention to details and ability to communicate with the engineers and contractor. There was so much more to this project than we had thought and you seeded to be there for every concern or question. The fact that your plans got through the County in 2 months is astonishing to everyone I tell. Again, a credit to your thoroughness. Because of this you have made my wife extremely happy and comfortable in her new home. It has become everything we have wanted in a craftsman house. Your vision made it fit into the landscape as if it was always here. And that is what we wanted as you know. Please feel free to have potential clients call us if ever in the need.
