We are fans of Carole Wylie Architecture. We had struggled with another architect who created an unaffordable design of his own desires, not ours. So when we found Carole it was so refreshing to find someone who would listen to what we had in mind, and then she worked her magic. We had decided the basic style of the home we wanted, and provided her with a very rough layout of the rooms with their square footage, trying to stay within the guidelines of our budget. We had compiled a photo scrapbook torn from magazines exemplifying many things we liked; then she drew from all the input we gave her to really satisfy us. The whole process was enjoyable, a mutual give and take from both sides. Carole put the complicated and demanding puzzle together, creating interior and exterior forms we love. For instance, she curved the long hall from the entry to the garage, put in a niche for artwork, and that way disguised the door to the garage. Brilliant! Carole was very timely with her responses, extremely professional, as well as very personable.
