When our house burned in the 07 wildfires, we were faced with rebuilding. One of our first calls was to Carole at Wylie Architecture to see if she had an opening for us in her schedule. We knew she was really busy, but she graciously accepted to take on the task of re-designing our home. From the very beginning, she was so helpful and accommodating, always taking time to listen to our ideas. Whenever there was a concern, she would sketch out an idea to help us visualize how it would eventually look. Even though we were rebuilding our house in its basic form, to fit the existing pad, the overall space planning and look of the house, needed to be re-designed.

Carole has a natural talent for looking at a possible room arrangement and seeing the very best solution while retaining the architectural flavor and style which was very important to us. She truly shines in exterior as well as interior finishes and accents. She came out to our jobsite to view the construction progress and when clarification to the contractor was needed.

We love our house and all the improvements that Carole put into it, from artful niches to unique ceiling treatments, to our extremely efficient kitchen. Thank you Carole, for helping us turn tragedy into home-sweet-home!
