Nestled in the mountains of the Cleveland National Forest, the Wylie home is a showcase for Carole Wylie's architectural talents. Featured in the San Vicente Valley Club 14th Annual Home Tour, this craftsman-influenced home incorporates the ideals of beauty, simplicity, utility and organic harmony. Split-faced concrete block exterior and concrete roof tiles were chosen to reflect the rock covvered hills beyond.

This addition included a guest room, full bath, two offices and a sewing room. The addition is tucked into the lower left rear corner of the existing house, above the garage. The repeated step gable forms and wood siding blend the addition with the original house.
